Hey there, I’m Trevor.

If you wandered over from one of my commercial sites, relax, you won’t find any talk of “strategic assets,” brand guidelines, or project timelines here. Trevor Gallery is my playground. These are the digital walls where I hang the work I make simply because I love making it. No clients, no briefs, just experiments I couldn’t resist.

By day, I’m a card-carrying computer geek, wrangling complex data and software systems. But when the screen shuts off, the cameras come out. I’ve spent the last 15 years chasing light, and this space is what that obsession looks like.

What I’m Making Here

Creative Portraits: This is where I love to push. I’m drawn to portraiture that steps beyond the ordinary: dramatic moods, conceptual themes, unconventional environments. A portrait shouldn’t just show what someone looks like. It should make you stop and wonder what the story is. (Massive shoutout to the brave friends and models who’ve spent the last decade volunteering as test subjects while I fine-tune my flashes.)

Macro & Miniature: I have a huge soft spot for close-up nature, macro, and still life work. There’s a whole universe hiding in the texture of a leaf or the quiet geometry of everyday objects, and I love slowing down to capture the things most people walk right past.

Chasing Light: Whether I’m building an elaborate portrait setup or framing a macro shot, lighting is the puzzle I can’t put down. Give me a shadow, a strange reflection, or a tricky setup to solve, and I’m happily lost for hours.

When I’m not buried in a camera menu or a technical rabbit hole, you’ll find me at the local bowling alley working on my hook, listening to some heavy metal, classic rock (or a little Luke Combs, depending on the day), or hanging out with Duke, my 120-pound lap dog.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet. Take a look around, check out the galleries, and enjoy the view.
